The Circuit de Catalunya is located in the town of Montmelo, in the province of Barcelona.

Opened in 1991, has a capacity of 131,000 spectators, and hosts various competitions among which Spain Grand Prix Formula 1 Grand Prix of Catalunya Motorcycle World Motorcycle Championship.
